Un-pause that Asheville vacation

Weaverville’s mayor has given us the go-ahead to host travelers again at Inn on Main vacation rentals.

It’s about time. Nancy’s flower gardens are all dressed up with no one to show.

We’re a little nervous about reintroducing a level of social mixing we haven’t seen in months, but are confident that we can keep guests safer and more relaxed in their own quarters than at a motel or hotel. Weaverville’s cafes are mostly still operating, though sit-down dining may be weeks off. Trails and parks surrounding Asheville have re-opened with social distancing guidelines. Life in these mountains is still restrictive, but it sure beats the cabin fever a lot of folks have been enduring. And that sure beats a couple weeks in the hospital. We’re grateful.

We’ve lowered prices and reduced minimum-stay requirements in light of the tight times many are going through. We’re also offering, for a limited time, to throw in a fourth night free on bookings of three nights or more. Reservations and payment normally are best done online, but we’ll have to subtract the bonus night from your total and send a revised invoice before you pay.

Whether you’re here on vacation, to visit the grandkids, looking for real estate or attending a class, Inn on Main makes a comfy home base.

It’s a short walk to cafes and galleries. Most are open for curbside service, and Curtis Wright Outfitters has opened the store. Grateful fishermen and fisherwomen have been coming in to upgrade their tackle for the trout season.

Hope to see you soon. The gardens are gorgeous and the Blue Ridge beckons.
